Another day, another store closing its doors for good. This time it’s Salt Life, the go-to brand for beach lovers everywhere. Salt Life’s parent company, Delta Apparel Inc., filed for bankruptcy in July, citing “reduced demand” and “difficulties obtaining raw materials,” according to The Post and Courier.
Delta Apparel Inc. basically hit some serious financial bumps. Their court filing revealed that they couldn’t keep up with the demand or secure enough materials, leading to a major cash crunch. Despite their best efforts to turn things around, it wasn’t enough to save Salt Life, which has 28 stores across the U.S.
Florida fans of Salt Life will be hit hard by these closures. Here’s a quick rundown of the stores shutting down across the state:
These locations will be liquidated over the next few months, so if you’ve been eyeing some gear, now’s the time to snag it. Salt Life’s offering 40% off all clothes and merchandise while supplies last. But a heads-up: coupons won’t be accepted as it is after October 20th cut off
While it’s sad to see Salt Life disappearing from malls and outlets, you can still grab their signature gear at a huge discount before they’re gone for good.
