If you’ve been sipping on LACTAID Milk lately, heads up! HP Hood LLC just recalled five SKUs of their 96 oz containers of LACTAID Milk on Saturday, September 20. Why? There’s a chance that some of these products may contain trace amounts of almond that weren’t listed on the label, and that’s a big deal for anyone with allergies. 😬

What’s the Risk?

According to the FDA, while no one’s gotten sick yet, anyone with an almond allergy could be at risk of a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction. If that’s you, or someone in your fam, it’s time to double-check your milk stash.

How to Know If Your Milk’s Affected:

Consumers can identify the recalled LACTAID products by looking for code 51-4109 P2 and checking the list of Best By Dates on fda.gov. These recalled cartons were shipped out from September 9th to September 18th to stores across 27 states, including Florida. So, if you grabbed one recently, it’s worth giving it a quick scan.

What Should You Do?

If you’ve already bought one of these 96 oz containers, don’t stress! You can return it to where you purchased it for a full refund — easy peasy. 🛒

Got questions? You can hit up Hood Consumer Affairs at 800-242-2423, Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM ET.

For all the details, including photos of the recalled products and the full list of Best By Dates, head over to the official recall notice on fda.gov.

Stay safe and check those labels! 🥛❌
