The hype for Ultra Music Festival 2025 just went up a notch! This week, Ultra announced that the legendary DJ/producer Solomun and his label Diynamic will take over the iconic Resistance Megastructure during the festival’s 25th edition in Miami next year. If you’re a fan of house and techno, this is the place to be.

For those who don’t know, Solomun (real name Mladen Solomun) co-founded Diynamic back in 2006, and nearly two decades later, it’s still serving heat, featuring major names like Stimming, DJ Koze, and Elax (aka Boys Noize’s alter ego). Solomun’s rise to the top has been steady, and now he’s one of the most sought-after DJs on the planet. From his legendary Ibiza residency, Solomun +1, to headlining top festivals, this guy knows how to throw a party.

Joining Solomun at Ultra’s Resistance Megastructure will be Mau P, Chloé Caillet, Rafael Cerato, and the one and only Four Tet, who’s been on fire lately. Four Tet has been killing it at massive festivals like Lollapalooza and Coachella, where he played a back-to-back-to-back (B3B) set with Fred Again.. and Skrillex. His ability to weave together everything from techno to house to even dropping Avicii’s “Levels” with zero irony makes his sets unforgettable.

But wait, there’s more. Ultra is also teasing a debut back-to-back between Solomun and Italy’s Anyma (half of the techno duo Tale of Us) on the main stage. If you’re unfamiliar with Anyma, get ready to have your mind blown. His shows are a complete sensory experience, mixing cutting-edge visuals with his signature melodic-techno beats. Ultra fans can expect an absolutely epic audiovisual showcase that will push the boundaries of the main stage sound beyond typical EDM.

This isn’t Ultra’s first move to shake things up on the main stage. A couple of years ago, techno queen Charlotte de Witte brought the underground sound front and center. Now, with Solomun and Anyma stepping up, it’s clear Ultra is going for a more diverse lineup that shows love to the techno and house heads.

Solomun has been crushing it for the last decade, even landing a profile in The New Yorker. His +1 residency at Pacha Ibiza is iconic, and his ability to switch between intimate club settings and massive festival stages is unmatched. Whether it’s a marathon 18-hour set or a quick banger, Solomun always delivers.

Ultra Music Festival returns to Bayfront Park from March 28 to 30, 2025. Keep your eyes peeled for the phase-one lineup, which should be dropping later this fall. Trust us, you don’t want to miss this one.
