If your beach pics aren’t racking up the likes, you might just be at the wrong beach. A new study analyzed over 500 beaches in Florida based on hashtag usage, and (duh) Miami Beach came out on top as the most Instagrammable shoreline in the Sunshine State.

The study looked at variations of beach-related hashtags—think #MiamiBeach, #MiamiBeachFL, #SouthBeachMiami—because, let’s be real, we all tag differently. The results? Miami Beach is the ultimate social media flex, with a jaw-dropping 9.08 million hashtagged posts.

Why Miami Beach?

Besides the obvious—white sandy beaches, turquoise water, and that iconic Art Deco backdrop—Miami Beach has been a go-to filming spot for legendary movies and shows like Scarface, Baywatch, and Goldfinger. It’s a vibe, plain and simple. Plus, with top-tier shopping, fire restaurants, and non-stop nightlife, it’s no shock that the city draws millions of visitors every year.

Palm Beach & Clearwater Beach Bring the Heat

Not far behind, Palm Beach took second place with 6.21 million hashtagged posts. The exclusive island escape is known for its swaying palm trees, pristine sand, and luxurious mansions.

Last year, The Palm Beaches—spanning from Boca Raton to Jupiter—hit a record-breaking 5.19 million visitors.

In third place, Clearwater Beach stacked up 1.79 million hashtagged posts, proving that Florida’s Gulf Coast deserves just as much clout. This beach isn’t just a pretty face—it’s packed with adventure, from windsurfing and parasailing to spotting dolphins near the 1,000-foot-long concrete pier.
