Yummy Hits Pure Miami
End of an era, Miami. The OG Wall’s Old Fashioned Ice Cream shop in South Miami just scooped its last cone this past weekend — officially closing after 20 years of serving up pure nostalgia and sugar highs.
Located at 8075 SW 67th Avenue, the family-owned spot was basically childhood in a cup for anyone growing up in the area. From their perfectly creamy cookies n’ cream to their iconic Super Hero swirl (you know the one), Wall’s had that retro charm and small-town warmth that made every visit feel special.
The shop broke the news just two days before shutting its doors on October 4, posting on Instagram.
So yeah, while we’re heartbroken we can’t grab a scoop there after a Big Cheese pizza run anymore, Wall’s isn’t completely gone. Their Sunset Drive location is still open — and they’ve got a new spot in the works.
Here’s to 20 years of fudge, banana splits, and first dates at one of Miami’s sweetest staples. 🥲🍨
TL;DR: Wall’s South Miami location = closed 💔
Sunset Drive location = still scooping 🍦
New location = coming soon 👀
