Yummy Hits Pure Miami
The Magic City was on fire Thursday night as Latin music’s biggest stars took over the Billboard Latin Music Awards at Miami’s James L. Knight Center — and let’s just say, Bad Bunny and Karol G did not come to play.
Bad Bunny racked up a massive 11 awards, including Artist of the Year, Top Latin Album, Top Latin Albums Artist, Male, and the Billboard Latin Artist of the 21st Century (like, casual flex). His milestone award was presented by none other than Puerto Rican icon Rita Moreno, making the moment even more legendary. 🇵🇷✨
Meanwhile, Karol G kept her crown shining bright, taking home six awards, including Global 200 Latin Song of the Year and Hot Latin Songs Artist, Female. The Colombian superstar continues to prove she’s la reina of Latin pop dominance. 💅💖
And just when the crowd thought the night couldn’t get any wilder — Daddy Yankee came out of retirement (!!) to perform his comeback single “Sonríele.” The “Gasolina” legend originally retired in 2023 to focus on his faith, but clearly, the stage was calling him back. 🙌
Miami definitely felt the heat last night — and Latin music just keeps leveling up.
