Influencer Jack Doherty Jailed Following Miami Beach Incident

Social media influencer Jack Doherty, 22, was arrested early Saturday morning in Miami Beach after an attempt to film content allegedly led to traffic obstruction and subsequent drug charges.

The YouTuber, known for his high-stakes pranks and stunts, was arrested around 3:12 a.m. on Saturday on the 700 block of Washington Avenue in the Entertainment District. According to the Miami Beach Police Department (MBPD) arrest documents, Doherty stepped into the middle of the road to film content and create a “significant safety hazard.”

Officers repeatedly ordered him to exit the roadway, but Doherty allegedly refused, responding, “Once I’m done with this bet!” The MBPD apprehended him for his refusal to comply and for obstructing traffic.

During a search, officers reported finding:

A controlled substance: Half of a pill identified as a Schedule II amphetamine (a felony charge if possessed without a valid prescription).
Marijuana: A black plastic container holding three suspected cannabis cigarettes (a misdemeanor charge).

Doherty faces charges including:

Possession of a controlled substance (Felony)
Possession of marijuana under 20 grams (Misdemeanor)
Resisting an officer without violence (Misdemeanor)

He was booked into the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center and was released later Saturday night after posting bond. Upon his release, Doherty was seen smiling for cameras and reportedly posted a video declaring, “I’m a free man, baby; let’s go!”

The Miami Beach Police Department issued a statement reiterating their commitment to public safety, noting they will “hold all individuals accountable under the law,” regardless of celebrity status.
