It’s been 14 years since Lady Gaga and Beyoncé teamed up for one of the most iconic music videos of the 21st Century. With Beyoncé’s announcement of RENAISSANCE ACT II, fans are hoping for a reunion.

During the Super Bowl on February 11th, Beyoncé surprised fans with two country singles and revealed RENAISSANCE’s sequel, set for March 29th. She was spotted at Allegiant Stadium alongside Lady Gaga, sparking speculation.

Twitter user @matthewsuber ignited a viral discussion by sharing a tweet highlighting a photo Gaga posted during the Super Bowl, where she held up two fingers, potentially alluding to Act II. While some fans disagreed in the comments, others pointed out a curious coincidence: Gaga’s character went to jail in the “Telephone” music video on February 11, 2010—the same date Beyoncé made her announcement.

Though they didn’t interact on camera, fans are analyzing Beyoncé’s new visuals and a social media post from Gaga. Many believe a “Telephone” sequel is in the works after Beyoncé shared a teaser for Act II on YouTube, reminiscent of the 2010 video.
