Yummy Hits Pure Miami
As Easter approaches, the excitement builds with spring parties, egg hunts, and brunches. And this year, Cadbury has chosen its newest Easter bunny through its annual “Cadbury Bunny Tryouts” contest. Making history, Miami’s very own Louie the Raccoon, a two-year-old pet and social media sensation, clinched the title, becoming the first raccoon to win. Louie will star in the 2025 Cadbury Bunny Tryouts commercial and receive a prize of $7,000.
In a recent press release, it was revealed that pet owners from all over the nation submitted their furry (or scaly) companions via Instagram posts, vying for the coveted title of Cadbury Bunny. Among the diverse array of contestants, Louie the Raccoon emerged victorious, garnering thousands of votes and surpassing contenders like a rescue cat, mini horse, and even a bearded dragon.
While raccoons may seem like an unconventional choice for the role, Cadbury Bunnies have a history of diversity. Previous winners have included Crash the rescue cat, Annie Rose the therapy dog, Betty the frog, Lieutenant Dan the treeing walker coonhound, and Henri the English bulldog. As long as they don a pair of bunny ears, any animal can embody the Cadbury Bunny spirit.
