Yummy Hits Pure Miami
Days after dropping her third studio album and rocking Saturday Night Live, Dua Lipa kept the energy high with a surprise pop-up concert in New York City. Taking over Times Square on Sunday (May 5), the singer treated fans to a selection of tracks from her latest album, Radical Optimism, released just two days prior. With a limited setlist featuring “Training Season,” “Houdini,” “Happy for You,” and “Illusion,” Dua delighted her audience with an unforgettable performance. This came right after her SNL appearance, where she not only showcased her musical talent but also flexed her comedic chops in various sketches, marking her debut as both host and musical guest on the iconic show.
Dua’s SNL gig followed the release of her latest album, Radical Optimism, marking her first album in four years since the acclaimed Future Nostalgia. Dropping the album on Friday, she took to social media with a heartfelt message expressing her immense gratitude for the album’s journey, saying, “I’m so happy/relieved/excited/nervous/crying/fizzing it’s finally yours.”
