Yummy Hits Pure Miami
Miami Beach police made waves on the internet with the introduction of their latest patrol vehicle, a Rolls Royce. Teaming up with Braman Motors, the police department shared a video on Instagram featuring their extravagant new car, aiming to add flair to their recruitment efforts.
Chief Wayne Jones stated: “This vehicle represents our commitment to innovation and our dedication to recruiting the best and brightest individuals to serve our community.”
However, this decision has sparked significant criticism from the public, with many questioning the necessity of such an expense.
One Instagram user commented, “I don’t think this reflects well on the police department,” while another added, “So, this is where all the money goes?”
Responding to the backlash, the police department’s public information officer, Christopher Bess, clarified in an interview, stating, “We haven’t incurred any costs for this vehicle; Miami Beach taxpayers didn’t contribute anything towards it.”
Expanding on this, a representative from Braman Motors emphasized in a press conference, “We covered all expenses associated with this project in line with the City of Miami Beach’s policy.”
