Brad Pitt and George Clooney are back at it with a new movie called Wolfs, but let’s just say… it’s not giving what it’s supposed to give. The film drops later this month, and critics are already dragging it through the mud, calling it a potential flop despite the insane $200 million budget. Like, they had ALL that money but couldn’t deliver? Some reviewers went as far as calling it a “slick student film” and compared watching it to being stuck in a never-ending “Are we there yet?” car ride. Ouch.

Directed by Jon Watts (you know, the dude who gave us MCU Spider-Man vibes), Wolfs is all about two lone-wolf fixers (Pitt and Clooney) forced to work together. But apparently, the whole thing just fell flat. Critics are saying the stars didn’t bring the heat, the jokes were weak, and the action scenes were meh at best. It’s being described as “big-budget filmmaking at its most vacant,” and we’re all kinda disappointed tbh.

The film was supposed to be the next big thing, especially since it’s another collab between Brad and George (cue Ocean’s vibes). Set to release on Apple TV+ on September 20, 2024, the plot follows two fixers who show up at the same crime scene without knowing they were both hired for the same gig. Chaos ensues—well, it was supposed to, but critics are saying it didn’t land.

Even though the movie’s getting roasted, Brad’s still shining off-screen with his new boo, Ines de Ramon. The two made waves at the Venice Film Festival, stepping out together looking all cute while Wolfs had its world premiere. Of course, George and his wife, Amal, were there too, serving as couple goals.

But yeah, not even Brad’s new relationship or their on-screen bromance could save this one from the critics’ claws.
