SNL Takes on TikTok: Hilarious Sketch Roasts Top Influencers and Trends

If you’re a TikTok addict (aren’t we all?), the latest SNL episode on Oct. 19 was made for you. Hosted by none other than Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice legend Michael Keaton and featuring musical guest Billie Eilish, this episode gave us a sketch that absolutely roasted the biggest influencers and viral trends on the app.

In the TikTok-inspired skit, SNL set up the scene as a never-ending For You Page scroll (you know the feeling), where we were served parodies of some of the most recognizable names on the platform. It kicked off with a creator pushing a random product from the TikTok Shop — classic — then jumped to the hilarious Kenan Thompson as food reviewer Keith Lee. His review? A “hennessy habanero Fruity Pebbles chicken sandwich” from a fictional Atlanta spot. And yes, it was just as extra as it sounds. 😆🍗🔥

Next, we got a send-up of those #tradwife cooking videos, where a pregnant influencer (Nara Smith x Gretchen Adler vibes) whipped up some truly DIY beef tacos, complete with the line, “I slaughtered the cow and picked the corn myself.” 😂🌮 OK, girl, we get it.

But the real chaos? A parody of Call Her Daddy host Alex Cooper, interviewing none other than… the Secretary of Homeland Security?! (Imagine the plot twist!) 🎙️

hen came the highlight: a wild parody of TikTok singer Harry Daniels serenading both Vice President Kamala Harris and Donald Trump in back-to-back clips. Daniels, played by Bowen Yang, started off singing Vanessa Carlton’s “A Thousand Miles” to Harris (Maya Rudolph), who hit him with the perfect line: “thank you, that was singing” as she bounced. 😭 Then, Daniels approached Trump (James Austin Johnson) with a very off-key rendition of Blink 182’s “I Miss You.”Trump’s response? “That was really bad, didn’t like that at all,” before just walking away. Ouch.

The sketch wrapped up with Harry Daniels again (he won’t quit), this time singing Hayley Williams’ “Airplanes” to Billie Eilish herself. But before he could finish, Billie handed him cash and was like, “please stop following me.” 😭💀
