If you’re heading out to vote this Election Day, Uber and Lyft have your back with a major discount! Both rideshare giants are offering 50% off rides to the polls, making it easier (and cheaper) for you to cast your vote.
Here’s What You Need to Know:
Uber: The deal is 50% off, up to $10 off your ride, and runs from 4 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. local time on November 5. Just open the app, click on the “Go Vote” tile, and book a ride to your nearest polling station. Heads up, though: this offer doesn’t apply if you’re in California or Georgia.
Lyft: Lyft is also giving you 50% off your ride to the polls. Just apply the discount code (you’ll find it in the app) when booking your trip.
