Yummy Hits Pure Miami
todayJanuary 30, 2025
Alright, foodies, listen up—if you’ve got Rural King and Wabash Valley Farms Bacon Seasoning chilling in your pantry, it’s time to check those labels! TS Food Packaging just issued a major recall on January 24th because of an undeclared allergen that could be seriously dangerous for some people.
According to the FDA, this seasoning contains undeclared soy, which is a big deal for anyone with soy allergies. If someone who’s allergic eats this, they could have a severe or even life-threatening reaction—and nobody wants that kind of drama over a sprinkle of seasoning.
The affected products were sold nationwide online and in stores, so even if you’re not in Florida, double-check your stash. Here’s what to look for:
4.2 oz plastic jars with lot numbers: 17324s, 27824s, 30324s
1 oz sample gift packets with lot numbers: 16524SP, 16624SP, 23424SP, 26324SP, 26424SP, 26724SP, 20624S, 20724S
Thankfully, no reported reactions so far. But that doesn’t mean you should risk it—better safe than sorry!
If you have this seasoning, do NOT use it. Instead, return it to the store for a full refund (aka, get your money back and avoid any health scares).
For more details, you can contact TS Food Packaging at (262) 763-9434 between 8 AM – 4 PM (CST) or hit them up via email at [email protected].
