Selena Gomez is back and thriving, and this time, she’s linking up with benny blanco and Gracie Abrams for what might just be THE song of the season. Their new track, “Call Me When You Break Up”, is officially out—and if you’ve ever waited for someone to leave a relationship (be honest), this one’s gonna hit.
The trio started teasing the song earlier this week, with Gracie performing her part live at a concert in Germany (casual flex), while Selena gave fans a sneak peek during an event in London. Then, boom—Sel and Gracie popped up in a teaser video on Selena’s socials, making it official.
It’s giving “I’m right here when you’re finally over them” energy. Selena and Gracie’s lyrics paint the picture of someone waiting for their crush’s messy relationship to finally crash and burn so they can swoop in. They sing:
“Call me when you break up / And maybe for a time I could have the space they take up / And make you forget what their name was / And when you’re feeling down, I can show ya what you’re made of.”
(Bestie… be so for real. This is relatable.)
The music video? Adorable. Selena and Gracie have a lowkey girls’ night, vibing and singing into the camera. Then, benny blanco pops in at the end—because duh, he’s the mastermind behind the whole project.
Keep Yummy Hits Miami LOUD because we’re spinning this one on repeat. 🔥
What do we think—situationship anthem of the year? Or are we manifesting actual relationships in 2024? 👀
