If you thought 2024 couldn’t get any worse, Lipton Ice Tea just decided to cancel your go-to summer bev. Yep, the iconic Peach Lipton Ice Tea is officially getting the axe, and fans are losing it.

Lipton broke the tragic news on their Insta this week, posting:
“It hurts. You may have heard that our iconic Peach Lipton Ice Tea flavour is getting discontinued. We know — it hurts (sorry if we’ve ruined your go-to afternoon chill bev).”

And just like that, our emotional support iced tea is gone.

The brand assured fans that their other flavours are sticking around, but let’s be real—nothing hits like that peachy goodness on a hot day. To make things even worse, they didn’t even bother giving a reason why they’re pulling the plug. No explanation, just vibes.

Fans Are In SHAMBLES

The comment section on Lipton’s post is pure chaos.

“How tf does a company discontinue arguably its best seller??” one person wrote, fully speaking for all of us.

“This is like Coca-Cola discontinuing Coke,” another added, because make it make sense.

Others are holding onto hope that it’s all an elaborate April Fools prank (manifesting).

“Lipton this better be a joke for April 1st…” one user begged.

“I immediately went to check if it was 1st April??!!!! What is happening,” another said, spiraling.

So, What Now?

Unless Lipton pulls a McDonald’s Szechuan Sauce-level comeback, it looks like we’re gonna have to start hoarding Peach Lipton like it’s limited-edition gold. Or, y’know, switch to another flavour (but like… it’s not the same).
