Ed Sheeran Confirms New Album Is Finished & Teases Upcoming Single

The ginger king himself just confirmed that his next album is DONE, and we won’t have to wait long for fresh Ed bops. Taking to social media, Ed dropped a behind-the-scenes studio clip with super-producer Ilya Salmanzadeh (who’s worked with icons like Lisa and Ariana Grande), officially sealing the deal.

And that’s not even the best part—he also teased his next single, “Azizam.” Yes, we have a name. Yes, we have a snippet. And yes, it’s already giving certified banger.

In the clip, Ed is fully vibing out to the track, which features an infectious dance beat and backing vocals from the Citizens Of The World Choir. The lyrics? Pure poetry:

“And if love’s just a game, come and play / Azizam / Meet me on the floor tonight / Show me how to move like the water / In between the dancing lights / Be my, be my Azizam.”

Sheeran kept his caption short and sweet: “Album done. Single soon. I’m very excited as you can tell.” Same, Ed. Same.

But wait—there’s more! Ed recently popped up at a random Boston pub for an intimate acoustic set in honor of St. Patrick’s Day. Just casually pulling up to sing his heart out while people sip their Guinness. If that’s not peak Ed Sheeran behavior, idk what is.
