Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce Are Officially Engaged
It’s giving fairytale ending! After two years of being everyone’s fave power couple, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce just announced their engagement on Tuesday (Aug. 26) with a joint Instagram drop — and honestly, the pics are chef’s kiss.
The post showed the NFL star pulling off a dreamy garden proposal straight out of a rom-com. Surrounded by flowers, Kelce got down on one knee while Tay covered her face in total shock. Another snap had the two lovebirds cheesin’ hard in each other’s arms, and of course, fans got a close-up of the stunning old-mine brilliant-cut diamond ring on a gold band, designed by celeb jeweler Kindred Lubeck of Artifex Fine Jewelry (per Page Six).
Their caption? Iconic: “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married 🧨”. Swifties + Chiefs Kingdom = collectively losing their minds.
The timeline checks out too. The duo started dating summer 2023 after Kelce (successfully) shot his shot at one of Taylor’s Eras Tour stops. Fast forward to December, Kelce reportedly asked Tay’s dad, Scott Swift, for his blessing — and got the green light. 🥹
Taylor even pulled up to Travis’ New Heights podcast recently, where the two spilled about their relationship in what became the show’s most-streamed episode ever. Fans have been rooting for this moment since day one, and now it’s happening.
So yeah… congrats to the “So High School” singer and her MVP fiancé. The internet is already manifesting an Eras Tour–themed wedding.
