Lola Young Cancels Tour After Onstage Collapse at New York Festival

24-year-old British singer Lola Young just shared some heartbreaking news with fans: she’s cancelling all her upcoming shows and career plans after collapsing on stage at the All Things Go Music Festival in New York this past weekend.

Mid-performance, Young fell backward during a song, leaving the crowd in shock. She was quickly carried off by medics, later hopping on Instagram to let fans know she was “doing okay.” But in a new update, the singer admitted she’s stepping away completely to focus on her health.

This comes just weeks after the release of her third studio album, which debuted at No. 3 on the UK charts. At the festival, Lola told the crowd she’d been “having a rough time lately,” moments before collapsing.

Fans were left shaken, with fellow artist Remi Wolf jumping in to reassure everyone: “That was really f**ing scary. My friend Lola is backstage, and she is okay.”*

Sadly, this isn’t the first time Lola has had a tough onstage moment. Back in June, she broke down in tears at London’s Capital Summertime Ball after her headlining set was plagued with technical issues.

For now, Lola’s asking for compassion online: “Please give me a day off if you’re thinking of being mean.” Sending her nothing but love as she takes the time she needs. 💕
