Spotify Video Podcasts Are Coming to Netflix — Yep, You Read That Right

Big streaming crossover alert: Spotify and Netflix are teaming up to bring video podcasts straight to your Netflix queue. So now, bingeing your fave true crime pod or NBA breakdown might happen in the same place you stream Love Is Blind.

The two giants just announced a partnership that’ll launch select video podcasts from Spotify Studios and The Ringer on Netflix — marking the first time Spotify’s original pod content will live on another major streaming platform.

Sports: The Bill Simmons Podcast, The Zach Lowe Show, The McShay Show, Fairway Rollin’, The Mismatch, The Ringer F1 Show, The Ringer Fantasy Football Show, The Ringer NFL Show, and The Ringer NBA Show
Culture / Lifestyle: The Rewatchables, The Big Picture, The Dave Chang Show, The Recipe Club, and Dissect
True Crime: Conspiracy Theories and Serial Killers

The rollout starts early 2026 in the U.S., with more countries joining the lineup later on. Netflix says additional podcast titles will be added as the partnership evolves — basically, this is just the beginning.

This move isn’t super shocking. Video podcasts have exploded over the past couple of years (thanks, YouTube 👋), and platforms like Spotify have been leaning hard into the format. Netflix co-CEO Ted Sarandos even teased this back in April 2025, saying the company is “constantly looking at all different types of content and creators.”

With YouTube currently holding the podcast crown, this collab could shake up the streaming game big time — giving Netflix an edge in the podcast space and giving Spotify creators a fresh spotlight.
