Yummy Hits Pure Miami

The “Hooligans” can finally breathe a sigh of relief. After nearly ten years without a solo studio project, Bruno Mars has officially announced his fourth solo album, titled The Romantic, set for release on February 27, 2026.
The news follows a whirlwind week for the superstar. On January 6, Mars sent the internet into a frenzy with a simple four-word post on X: “My album is done.” By Wednesday, he revealed the title and a striking black-and-white cover art featuring a sketch of himself framed by roses.
To start the era, Mars dropped the album’s lead single, “I Just Might,” today, Friday, January 9. The track—a mid-tempo, disco-pop anthem—was co-produced by his longtime collaborator D’Mile. Early reactions suggest the song returns to the soulful, retro-funk energy that made his previous work inescapable, with Mars declaring on social media that the “self-proclaimed Aura Lord is back.”
While The Romantic is his first solo effort since 2016’s Grammy-winning 24K Magic, Mars hasn’t been idle. He has spent the last few years dominating the charts through massive collaborations:
Silk Sonic: His 2021 soul-revival project with Anderson .Paak swept the Grammys.
Global Hits: Most recently, he topped the charts with Lady Gaga on the record-breaking ballad “Die With a Smile” and went viral with Rosé on the pop-punk hit “APT.”
Unexpected Drops: He even dipped into the rap world, appearing on Sexxy Red’s “Fat Juicy & Wet.”
Who else is excited for this Friday to hear the first single from ‘The Romantic’?
