Yummy Hits Pure Miami
If you were hoping for a fresh Ariana Grande album to soundtrack your drive to the Eternal Sunshine Tour this summer, you might want to take a deep breath.
In a new interview with Variety, the 32-year-old pop icon got brutally honest about her current workload. When asked if any new music would drop before she hits the road in June, Ari didn’t sugarcoat it. “No — definitely not. Nothing is coming before May,” she told the outlet. “I love [my fans] so much, but sometimes I want to ask, ‘Do you think there’s another version of me out there who had time to write an album?’ Not yet — but soon enough.”
Of course, it wouldn’t be a 2026 news cycle without a little internet drama. Shortly after the interview went live, Ariana took to Instagram to clarify a few things. In true Ari fashion—witty and very relatable—she hinted that a “Zoom glitch” might have played a role in the Variety quotes. Responding to a fan account, she joked that she never specifically mentioned the month of May or the phrase “soon enough.” Her actual vibe? “Ma’am, I would need an extra brain and four more arms,” she wrote. She also teased, “Do they think there’s a clone of me out there somewhere!”
Honestly, we can’t even be mad. Looking at her 2026 schedule, she’s a busy multi-hyphenate:
The Big Screen: She’s coming off the massive success of Wicked: For Good and has already wrapped filming for the comedy Focker In-Law (dropping November 2026).
Mystery Projects: She teased a top-secret venture that she says “contains multitudes.”
The “Last Hurrah”: She’s hinted this tour might be her last for a “long, long time,” making these tickets more precious than ever.
The good news? While the new music is on hold, the Eternal Sunshine experience is very much happening. For all our SoFlo girls, Ari is making a massive three-night stand at the Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise.
If you’re planning your outfit, mark these dates:
June 30 (Tuesday)
July 2 (Thursday)
July 3 (Friday)
Since she’s focusing 100% on the tour instead of recording, expect the production to be absolutely ethereal. We’ll see you in the pit—we’ll be the ones screaming every word to “We Can’t Be Friends.”
