Zara Larsson’s Shoe Broke Onstage and She Still Finished Her Set

Zara Larsson had a very live TV moment this week and honestly handled it better than most people would.

While performing on the Today show’s Summer Concert Series in New York, one of her silver heels snapped in the middle of her set. And instead of stopping or awkwardly walking offstage, she just kept performing like nothing happened.

The moment happened during “Lush Life” after she had already performed songs including “Midnight Sun,” “Pretty Ugly,” and “Stateside.” At one point, she laughed and told the crowd she had lost her heel and joked that everyone now had to “dance extra hard.”

And somehow… she still managed to keep dancing.

Fans online immediately started posting clips from the performance because honestly, the recovery was smoother than most people expected. Instead of turning into a disaster, it kind of became the highlight of the set.

She also brought Today co-host Sheinelle Jones onstage during “Lush Life,” which added even more chaos in the best way possible.

The performance comes during a big stretch for Zara right now. Her album Midnight Sun has been gaining a lot of attention, and she’s coming off a string of viral performances and collaborations over the last few months.

Broken heel aside, she finished the performance without missing a beat.
