Fort Lauderdale’s First Floating Pickleball Court Is Now Open at Pier Sixty-Six

Move over rooftop pickleball—Fort Lauderdale just raised the bar.

Pier Sixty-Six has officially opened the city’s first floating pickleball court, giving players the chance to rally right on the water with yachts and marina views all around. It’s one of the most unique new things to do in Fort Lauderdale this summer.

Located at Pier Sixty-Six Marina, the floating court is open daily from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and can be reserved for one-hour sessions for up to four players. Every reservation includes paddles, balls, complimentary bottled water, and a chilled oshibori towel.

The experience is open to locals, hotel guests, and visitors alike. Guests 13 and older can play without supervision, while children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult. A signed waiver is also required before stepping onto the court.

After your match, head over to The Elyx Lounge at the Sotogrande Patio for cocktails and bites overlooking the marina—the perfect way to cool down after a game.

Whether you’re a pickleball pro or just looking for a fun new South Florida activity, this floating court offers one of the most scenic places to play in the country.

Reservations are available now through ResortPass.
