Pitbull can officially add Guinness World Record holder to his long list of accomplishments.
The rapper, known around the world as “Mr. Worldwide,” made history during his headlining performance at British Summer Time (BST) Festival in London’s Hyde Park by setting a Guinness World Record for the largest gathering of people wearing bald caps.
A certified crowd of 22,141 fans donned flesh-colored bald caps to recreate Pitbull’s signature look, making it the largest gathering of its kind ever recorded. Thousands of concertgoers completed the tribute with black aviator sunglasses, tailored suits, and stick-on goatees, transforming Hyde Park into a sea of “Mr. Worldwides.”
Because it was a brand-new Guinness World Records category, Pitbull and the BST Festival officially established the inaugural record.
The celebration became even more memorable when Kesha made a surprise appearance on stage. The pop star joined Pitbull to perform their 2013 global hit “Timber,” marking the first time the pair had performed the song live together in 13 years.
Following the performance, Kesha reflected on the reunion in an Instagram post.
“For the first time in 13 years, performing ‘Timber’ as a free woman and independent artist was such a special experience with you, @pitbull,” she wrote. “Congrats on breaking the Guinness World Record for bald caps!!”
The night also featured an appearance from Lil Jon, who joined Pitbull earlier in the show to perform some of their biggest hits and keep the energy high throughout the record-breaking event.
Before wrapping up the concert, Pitbull accepted the official Guinness World Records plaque on stage and thanked fans for helping make history before delivering his signature catchphrase: “Dale!”
With more than 22,000 fans participating, Pitbull’s London concert has officially earned a place in the Guinness World Records book while giving fans a night they’ll never forget.
