The Viral Floating Umbrellas Are Officially Back In SoFlo

If your photo grid has been feeling a little mid lately, drop everything you’re doing because Coral Gables just delivered the ultimate main character moment.

The iconic, totally instagrammable rainbow umbrellas are officially back at Giralda Plaza, but this time they got a massive glow-up! Say hello to Giralda in Bloom—a literal floating sky of hundreds of floral-patterned umbrellas that will instantly cure your feed!

Designed by Impact Plan (aka the absolute geniuses behind the original Umbrella Sky Project in Portugal), this free art display is swaying above the 100 block of Giralda Avenue right now.

It’s part two of the city’s 2026 Giralda Sky Series! (Remember Cielo Tejido: A Woven Sky from earlier this summer, with those stunning handwoven textiles made by artisan women from Etzatlán, Mexico? Same gorgeous energy, totally new aesthetic!)

How to Catch the Aesthetic

  • Where: 100 block of Giralda Avenue (Coral Gables)

  • Vibe: Floating floral canopy casting the dreamiest colorful shadows

  • Cost: $0 (We love a free photo op)

  • When: On view right now through October
