Nightmare Village Returns to Xtreme Action Park in Fort Lauderdale for Halloween 2026

If getting chased through a haunted house sounds like your idea of a fun Friday night, Fort Lauderdale has your Halloween plans covered. Nightmare Village is returning to Xtreme Action Park this October, bringing three haunted houses packed with creepy characters, twisted storylines and plenty of reasons to scream. The annual South Florida Halloween attraction takes over Xtreme Action Park at 5300 North Powerline Road in Fort Lauderdale, giving thrill-seekers three different terrifying experiences to survive in one night.

Guests can grab their bravest friends and make their way through all three haunted houses, including Patches’ Slaughter, with scares and surprises waiting around seemingly every corner. Groups are limited to a maximum of six people entering at a time, so there’s really nowhere to hide behind a giant crowd when things start getting creepy. Nightmare Village is not recommended for children under 13, and all minors must be accompanied by an adult.

Ticket prices vary depending on when you visit. General admission is $40 from October 2 through October 18, increases to $45 from October 23 through October 25 and jumps to $55 for the final Halloween stretch from October 29 through October 31. Nightmare Village will also open November 1 for its Day of the Dead event, with admission priced at $40. An early bird deal offered $35 admission for tickets purchased from August 10 through September 10 and used by October 15.

Anyone planning to experience Nightmare Village should also know that the last admission is 30 minutes before the attraction closes. Every participant must sign a waiver, minors need a signed parental waiver, and all ticket sales are final with no refunds.
