FIFTY FIFTY and Kaliii have joined forces to create a captivating collaboration for one of the latest tracks featured on Barbie The Album, the star-studded soundtrack accompanying Greta Gerwig’s highly-anticipated Barbie film. On Friday, July 7th, the K-pop girl group graced the soundtrack with their irresistible single, “Barbie Dreams,” which includes a captivating verse from Kaliii, known for her contributions to the iconic track “Area Codes.”

The chorus resonates with a sense of wonder and aspiration as they sing, “In my reverie, a world of fantasy unfolds/ A flawless existence like pages from a glossy magazine/ Yet as I awaken, the truth takes hold/ Embracing limitless possibilities, living out my Barbie dreams.” Throughout the song, FIFTY FIFTY cleverly nods to the popular “gorgeous gorgeous girls” TikTok meme in the pre-chorus, painting a vivid picture of their world: “Exquisite, enchanting, a symphony of beautiful souls/ Classic flip phones adorned with diamonds and pearls/ Sparkling rhinestones, luxurious rover, a hot pink toaster/ Step into my realm, and discover a universe unfurled.”

Joining the esteemed roster of tracks featured on Barbie The Album, the newest addition is the captivating single titled “Barbie Dreams.” This release accompanies a collection of previously unveiled singles, including the high-energy “Speed Drive” by Charli XCX, the vibrant collaboration “Barbie World” by Nicki Minaj and Ice Spice, the ethereal “Angel” by PinkPantheress, the infectious “Watati” by Karol G and Aldo Ranks, and the captivating “Dance the Night” by Dua Lipa.

Excitingly, Billie Eilish also confirmed her participation in the soundtrack, revealing her mesmerizing contribution titled “What Am I Made For?” on July 6th. Furthermore, in an exclusive interview with Time, renowned producer Mark Ronson disclosed that there is still one more surprise artist to anticipate.
