Selena Gomez and Camila Cabello Ignite Collaboration Speculations with Captivating New Photo
Collaboration speculations between Selena Gomez and Camila Cabello have been ignited following their recent hangout, as evidenced by a heartwarming photo they shared. On Thursday, July 13th, Gomez took to Instagram to share a collection of personal pictures, among which was a snapshot featuring her and the former Fifth Harmony member enjoying their time at Universal Studios. The caption accompanying the photo series read, “Unplanned moments with @Camila_Cabello.” In the picture, Gomez can be seen with her arm around Cabello’s neck, both playfully sticking out their tongues while gesturing a peace sign and the middle finger, respectively. Cabello expressed her affection by leaving a heartfelt comment, saying, “I love u,” on the post.
Adding to the excitement, Cabello playfully teased her fans by tagging Grammy-winning producer Bart Schoudel in the comments. Schoudel had previously collaborated with Gomez on her latest track, “My Mind & Me.” In an intriguing update, Entertainment Tonight reported that Schoudel also shared a behind-the-scenes photo on his Instagram Story, showcasing himself working with Selena in the studio.
If indeed a collaboration between Selena and Camila is in the works, it would mark Selena’s first venture into new music since 2022. In June, the multi-talented artist, known for her role in “Only Murders in the Building,” delighted fans with an exciting update on her highly-anticipated music. Accompanied by several black and white studio photos, she wrote, “Don’t worry, guys, it’s coming. Even from Paris. 😉” Fans flooded the comments section with their overwhelming excitement, with one fan exclaiming, “Never been this excited in my life,” while another eagerly speculated, “STARS DANCE 2.0?” referencing Gomez’s debut solo album, “Stars Dance.”
Whenever Selena decides to release her new album, it will serve as a follow-up to her 2021 Spanish-language EP, “Revelación,” which earned her a well-deserved Grammy nomination for Best Latin Pop Album. In a previous interview with Seventeen, she shared more insight into the album’s content, stating, “To be honest, I’m now telling stories that people don’t know. People I’ve dated that people don’t know… Experiences I’ve had that people don’t know. I’ve created this private life that’s just mine.” This upcoming release promises to provide a deeply personal and revealing glimpse into Selena’s world.
