In anticipation of the reveal, the chart-topper also unveiled the single’s artwork, which portrays Dua playfully looking into a mirror while sticking out her tongue, creating a visually intriguing illusion. Leading up to the big announcement, Dua had been sharing cryptic posts, including one featuring her holding a key between her teeth.

Just on Tuesday, October 31st, Dua Lipa shared an engaging video in which she was seen capturing the photos she had previously posted. The video also included a brief glimpse of her upcoming track “Houdini.” Furthermore, she disclosed a sequence of numbers that attentive fans quickly deciphered, revealing the title of the song. In the teaser, Dua sings, “Tell me all the ways you need me.”

Fans have been eagerly awaiting the onset of Dua’s fresh musical era ever since she confirmed, in an interview, that her third studio album is slated for release in 2024. She mentioned that this upcoming record will introduce a distinct sound while staying true to her pop roots, ensuring that her fans don’t experience a meltdown, as she humorously noted. Dua also expressed her intent not to “alienate” her fan base, but rather, her new sound will explore the realms of “1970s-era psychedelia,” marking a shift away from disco influences.
