Zara Larsson has officially introduced her upcoming album, “Venus,” as the successor to her 2021 release, “Poster Girl.” In addition to this exciting news, she has also announced a European tour for the coming year.
As described in a press release, “Venus” is touted as “A pop album fit for a goddess, with Zara Larsson firmly establishing her own narrative, in part by reflecting on her journey thus far.”
Earlier this year, Larsson granted an interview to Uproxx in which she provided additional insight into the album’s sound. She stated, “I think it’s super fun. It has some highs and some lows – some beautiful ballads, some dancey songs. I feel like it’s just a collection of really good music. It’s how I’ve always navigated in the music industry throughout my career. Does it have a specific sonic theme? Not really, I think the common thread is the quality and my voice, and its versatility.”
She had previously unveiled her collaboration “On My Love” with David Guetta.
At present, the tour is exclusively scheduled for Europe.
