Yummy Hits Pure Miami
Alright, y’all, buckle up because September’s movie lineup is fire! 🔥 First up back on September 6th, we’ve got the one, the only… Beetlejuice. Yep, you heard me right. But I’m not saying his name again (we all know the rules, right?). And yes, it’s a sequel to the OG classic. The original cast is basically coming back, AND we’ve got our spooky queen Jenna Ortega joining the chaos. This one’s gonna be insane.
Then on September 13th, get ready because John B is back… but not in the Outer Banks. On Netflix, we’ve got a movie called The Uglies. Picture this: in the future, everyone’s called an “ugly” until they turn 16, then they get surgically turned into “pretties.” 😂 Yes, that’s literally the plot. Once they’re “pretty,” they get to live in some glam town. It’s giving dystopian realness. And, um, I’m curious but also confused. Still watching it tho. 👀
Next up, there’s Speak No Evil. So basically, a couple on vacation meets another couple with a kid who doesn’t talk. Seems chill, right? WRONG. The quiet couple starts getting way too involved in their lives, and then things get real dark. This one’s gonna have us on the edge of our seats. 👀
On September 20th, Netflix is dropping His Three Daughters. It’s about, you guessed it, three daughters coming together to deal with their father’s passing. Prepare for tears, y’all. 😭
In theaters the same day, we’ve got The Wild Robot, about Roz, a robot who wakes up alone on a remote island. Honestly, living rent-free on an island sounds kinda nice… but no coffee? Yeah, I’m out. 🚫☕️
Also hitting theaters is Never Let Go, and whew, this one’s spooky. It’s about a family haunted by a creepy spirit, and things get real when one of them goes missing. 🫣
Finally, on Netflix, we have Rez Ball. This one’s about a Native American high school basketball team fighting to keep their championship dreams alive. Gonna be a must-watch for sports movie lovers! 🏀
Which of these are you hyped for?
