Bad news for Chappell Roan fans hoping to catch her at the All Things Go festival this weekend. The “Pink Pony Club” singer, 26, has officially pulled out of her scheduled shows in New York City (September 28) and Columbia, Maryland (September 29), citing a need to prioritize her health.

In an Instagram Story update shared Friday, Roan got real with her fans. “I apologize to people who have been waiting to see me in NYC & DC this weekend at All Things Go, but I am unable to perform,” she wrote. “Things have gotten overwhelming over the past few weeks and I am really feeling it.”

Roan, born Kayleigh Rose Amstutz, opened up about how the pressures of her skyrocketing career are catching up with her. “I feel pressures to prioritize a lot of things right now and I need a few days to prioritize my health,” she explained. “I want to be present when I perform and give the best shows possible. Thank you for understanding. Be back soon xox.”

This decision comes after Roan recently shared a vulnerable update with her fans, revealing that she’s been battling severe depression, a diagnosis she received amid the whirlwind of her rise to fame.
