Yummy Hits Pure Miami
Back Under the Helm: Tua’s Return Brings Sparks but No Win Against the Cardinals
Miami Dolphins’ QB Tua Tagovailoa made a comeback this Sunday, stepping back on the field and into the spotlight after his time on the injured reserve list. The Dolphins fought hard but ultimately fell just short against the Arizona Cardinals, losing by a razor-thin 28-27.
Tua’s comeback had the crowd hyped, and he didn’t disappoint (mostly). He went 28-for-38, racking up 234 passing yards and a touchdown—solid numbers for his first game back. He looked sharp, with no signs of concussion symptoms, and even when the pressure was on, Tua held his ground. However, it wasn’t all smooth sailing; a couple of fumbled snaps led to a frustrating safety that put the Cardinals in position for a last-second field goal, sealing Miami’s fate.
The Dolphins’ run game was on fire, amassing 150 yards and two touchdowns. Kicker Jason Sanders also kept it perfect, going 2-for-2 on field goals.
The Fins are now sitting at 2-5. Up next? A road game against the Buffalo Bills.
