Katy Perry Just Went to Space and TBH, Earth Is Feeling Kinda Mid Now 🚀🌍

Pop girlies, space girlies, science girlies — unite. Because Katy Perry just made her debut as a literal astronaut, and we are not kidding. The “Teenage Dream” icon launched into actual space alongside five other amazing women, marking the first all-female spaceflight since 1963 — yes, SIXTY years ago. Like… girl history is literally being made.

The crew took off from West Texas (yes, apparently rockets launch from there) on one of Jeff Bezos’ Blue Origin rockets and floated around the edge of space for about 11 minutes of zero-gravity slay before safely returning to Earth. And if you’re wondering whether Katy sang mid-spaceflight? She did. “What a Wonderful World” no less — cue the tears.

“I feel super connected to love,” Katy said post-landing, holding a daisy — the flower she brought with her to honor her daughter, Daisy Dove. 🥹🌼
