Lil Nas X Hospitalized After Alleged Drug Overdose in Ventura
Lil Nas X had fans and authorities shook after being hospitalized following a possible drug overdose. The “Old Town Road” star was spotted nearly nude, walking in the middle of the street at 4 a.m. in Ventura, California.
According to TMZ, Lil Nas X was rocking just white underwear and cowboy boots, singing to himself as he strutted down the road. At one point, he told the person filming, “Don’t be late to the party,” before asking them to put the phone away.
Police were called after reports of a nude man in the street, and when Lil Nas X allegedly charged at officers, he was handcuffed and assessed for a potential overdose. He was promptly taken to the hospital, where he remains.
The 26-year-old artist could face charges related to the incident. Lil Nas X had been low-key since dropping his Days Before Dreamboy EP in March, though he recently resurfaced on social media with some unusual posts from his apartment.
So far, neither Lil Nas X nor his team has made an official comment. Fans are sending love and hoping for his full recovery. 💛
