Daniel’s Miami Is Expanding With a Major New Waterfront Location

The team behind Daniel’s Miami is growing its presence in the city.

Gioia Hospitality, led by Thomas and Kassidy Angelo alongside Culinary Director Danny Ganem, has announced plans for a second Daniel’s location in Miami’s Edgewater neighborhood.

The new restaurant is expected to open in late 2027 or early 2028 at 560 NE 34th Street.

And this one is going big.

The waterfront steakhouse will span approximately 11,500 square feet, with interiors designed by Rockwell Group. Plans also include indoor dining and a 2,500-square-foot outdoor bar overlooking Biscayne Bay.

The announcement comes as the Daniel’s team opens another new Miami restaurant, La Sponda Ristorante & Grill, at Vita on Grove Isle.

La Sponda brings a more Italian-focused menu to the waterfront setting, with regional dishes including linguine all’astice, crudo and other seafood-driven selections.

The restaurant is open Wednesday through Sunday from 5 to 10 p.m. at 4 Grove Isle Drive.

Between the opening of La Sponda and a much larger Daniel’s heading to Edgewater, Gioia Hospitality is quickly expanding its footprint across Miami’s waterfront dining scene.

For fans of the original Daniel’s, there’s now another major opening to keep on the radar — even if we’ll have to wait until 2027 or 2028 to experience it.
