Ariana Grande unveils a “Naughty Version” of her hit song ‘Santa Tell Me’

The renowned songstress dropped a “naughty version” of her 2014 festive hit, “Santa Tell Me,” on Sunday, tweaking a few lines in the bridge. This beloved Christmas tune narrates a scenario where the protagonist turns to Santa to discern whether her romantic interest will remain committed beyond the holidays or exit like previous partners. Throughout the song, Grande implores Santa to reveal whether her relationship is genuine love or merely another passing “fling.” The “One Last Time” singer teased snippets from the updated version via her Instagram story on Monday morning.

In the original rendition, released nine years ago, Grande sings, “Oh, I wanna have him beside me, like oh-woo-oh / On the 25th, by that fireplace, oh-woo-oh.” However, in the 2023 “naughty version,” she spices things up with more provocative lyrics.

“Oh, I wanna let him unwrap me, like oh-woo-oh / Get on top of him, by that fireplace, oh-woo-oh.”

Despite being labelled as a distinct version, these two lines were the sole lyrics altered.
