P!nk is pursuing legal action against Pharrell Williams for his endeavor to secure a trademark for the term “P.Inc.” In a lawsuit filed recently against Pharrell’s company, PW IP Holdings, attorneys representing K (real name Alecia Moore) contend that Pharrell’s attempt to register such a trademark could lead to “confusion, misunderstanding, and/or deception” with her established professional identity. Furthermore, the complaint highlights that K’s company, Lefty Paw Print, currently possesses a range of trademarks associated with her name.

Pharrell’s legal team clarified that the trademark was sought to cover services such as “promotional marketing services in the field of music.” Despite never collaborating on music, P!NK and Pharrell did co-mentor contestants during season 10 of The Voice.

This marks the second lawsuit Pharrell faces regarding this trademark attempt. Victoria’s Secret, the lingerie retailer with its own PINK line, filed a similar action last month, asserting that the “P.Inc” trademark closely resembles and sounds akin to their “PINK” marks.
