Grab your marshmallows and acoustic guitars, because the Camp Rock sequel we’ve been manifesting for over a decade is finally real. Disney Branded Television confirmed on Wednesday (Sept. 17) that Camp Rock 3 has been greenlit for Disney Channel and Disney+, and yes — the Jonas Brothers are back.
Nick, Joe, and Kevin aren’t just returning as their characters from the OG films — they’re also executive producing the project. Demi Lovato (aka Mitchie Torres) hasn’t been confirmed yet, but fans are crossing their fingers after her mini reunion with the JoBros earlier this year.
To celebrate, the brothers dropped a TikTok that sent every Millennial and Gen Z’er spiraling. The video recreates an iconic scene from the 2008 movie with the trio back as fictional boyband Connect 3. Joe, in full Shane Gray mode, declares, “I don’t wanna waste my summer at some camp! I’m Shane Gray for crying out loud!” while Nick plays peacemaker and Kevin nails the line, “Yeah man, this is where Connect 3 connected.” The caption? “Good morning campers.” Instant nostalgia.
According to People, Camp Rock 3 picks up when Connect 3 lose their opening act for a major reunion tour and head back to their old stomping grounds at Camp Rock to find the “next big thing.” Think friendly rivalries, secret alliances, and just enough romance to make you hit replay.
“Camp Rock is an important part of the Disney Channel Original Movie legacy,” said Ayo Davis, president of Disney Branded Television. “Bringing it back with Kevin, Joe, Nick and Demi is such a full-circle moment, and we can’t wait to reintroduce this world to a new generation.”
Fan-fave Maria Canals-Barrera is returning as Mitchie’s mom, and new cast members include Liamani Segura, Malachi Barton, Lumi Pollack, Hudson Stone, Casey Trotter, Brooklynn Pitts, Ava Jean, and Sherry Cola.
🔥 Bonus for Miami fans: Before Camp Rock 3 drops, you can catch the Jonas Brothers live right here in Miami on October 24. Expect them to bring the nostalgia, the hits, and maybe even a sneak peek of what’s next.
Summer 2025 is about to be a Camp Rock renaissance — but Miami gets the first taste.
