Sabrina Carpenter Is Fully in Her Carrie Bradshaw Era
Sabrina Carpenter is channeling Sex and the City vibes and we are here for it. The Man’s Best Friend singer just dropped a promo video teasing her upcoming Saturday Night Live return — and it’s giving Carrie Bradshaw energy in every frame.
Set to hit the SNL stage this Saturday (Oct. 18) as both host and musical guest, Carpenter’s promo sees her strutting through the studio like New York’s very own Carrie. “New York is one big apple, and I’m taking my bite — at Saturday Night Live,” she says in a voiceover that’s basically a love letter to the classic introspective Carries we all know and love. She even admits to wondering what she’d gotten herself into… while clearly charming the cast and crew.

She has a hilarious run-in with her very own Mr. Big, Marcello Hernández: “Oh, thank god, it’s Mr. Big!” she squeals — to which he deadpans, “Hey, it’s actually Marcello, but I’ll take it.” Cosmopolitan in hand, Carpenter hands it off and keeps strutting.
Sabrina’s comedic timing is chef’s kiss when she quips about her heels: “In these heels? Probably like 5’4.”
She even mistakes writer Martin Herlihy for a fan, giving him an autograph while he’s just trying to discuss a pumpkin patch sketch. Classic.
Basically, Sabrina Carpenter’s promo is equal parts glam, sass, and pure NYC chaos, and it’s safe to say she’s fully living her Carrie Bradshaw moment ahead of SNL this weekend.
