Lady Gaga Halts Concert After Dancer Slips Off Stage in Pouring Rain
Lady Gaga proved once again that the show can wait when safety is on the line. During her Mayhem Ball stop at Sydney’s Accor Stadium this weekend, the Grammy-winning superstar abruptly paused her concert after one of her backup dancers slipped and fell off the stage amid heavy rainfall.
In fan-captured footage circulating online, Gaga is in the middle of performing “Garden of Eden” when dancer Michael Dameski suddenly loses his footing. The open-air venue was drenched by pouring rain, causing Dameski to slide across the stage and tumble off the edge. Without missing a beat emotionally, Gaga reacted instantly. The “Abracadabra” singer ran toward the edge of the stage, urgently signaling for the backstage crew to stop the production while firmly repeating, “Stop.”

The music cut, the lights dimmed, and the stadium filled with gasps as Gaga leaned over the stage to check on her dancer. Fans could be heard cheering and calling out in concern as the moment unfolded.
“Just one second,” Gaga told the crowd. “We just had an accident on the stage. Everything’s okay. Just, everyone, wait a second, please.”
She then called out directly to Dameski, asking, “Are you okay?” as crew members rushed to assist.
