Shortly before Hardwell’s scheduled performance on the main stage, Ultra made the decision to temporarily halt the festival due to severe weather conditions, including lightning and strong winds. Despite rain persisting for most of the day, the festival had been ongoing until then, with even Tiesto’s set being interrupted at one point. Attendees coped with the wet conditions by donning ponchos, but the emergence of massive puddles made navigating the festival grounds challenging. Safety took precedence, and hopes are high that the remaining DJ sets can proceed later in the weekend.

The event’s social media accounts have announced the cancellation, and live stream broadcasts are currently replaying past sets. A severe weather warning has been issued for the area, citing potential 60mph wind gusts and quarter-size hail. Additionally, there was a tornado warning, heightening concerns for attendees’ safety.
