The Queen B had to channel emergency energy on Saturday night when her iconic red Cadillac — yes, the one she literally rides in mid-air — started tilting while she was in it. 😳
During her Cowboy Carter Tour stop in her hometown of Houston, Beyoncé was belting out her emotional ballad “16 Carriages” (RIP to that song — more on that later), when the suspended car she was seated in began to slowly lean to one side. Fans gasped as Beyoncé clung to a flagpole for balance, then calmly called out:
“Stop! Stop, stop, stop stop.”
the way she was saying “Stop Stop Stop” Beyoncé immediately take this off the set list.. no more cars we don’t even play like that this is scary asf #CowboyCarterTour pic.twitter.com/Lt4bModkr6

Security and crew moved FAST. The 43-year-old icon was safely lowered to the stage — still smiling and waving like the unbothered queen she is.
Later, she joked with the crowd:
“If ever I fall, I know y’all will catch me.”
Honestly, it’s giving grace under pressure.
Within minutes, TikTok and X (formerly Twitter) lit up with videos and reactions. Fans revived her iconic 2010 quote:
“Somebody’s getting fired.” 😭
Because if you know, you know.
Parkwood Entertainment confirmed it was a “technical mishap”, no one was hurt, and the show carried on like the flawless rodeo it is. 🤠✨
This isn’t Beyoncé’s first time wrangling wayward tech:
A robot bartender missed its cue earlier this tour and spilled her drink (tragic).
In 2018, a platform failed during On The Run II, and she had to climb down a ladder in heels and a sequined bodysuit. Literally built different.
Since the mishap, fans noticed “16 Carriages” has been quietly removed from the setlist. Whether it’s temporary or permanent… TBD.
Despite the flying car drama, the Cowboy Carter Tour is thriving. It’s already shattered records at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London and Stade de France in Paris (fun fact: the previous record holder… was also Beyoncé 🐝). Plus, fans have been living for cameos by Blue Ivy, 13, and Rumi, 8 — both already eating up the stage like it’s recess.
So yeah, even when the Cadillac’s flying sideways, Beyoncé still delivers a moment. Because that’s what icons do.
