If you were planning a beach day in North Beach this weekend… you might wanna hit pause on that. 👀
Miami Beach officials just dropped a “no swim” advisory for the waters near 77th Street, Tatum Waterway, and Park View Island after a sanitary sewer main break near 800 77th Street.
Basically, the city’s saying: don’t touch the water right now. That means no swimming, paddleboarding, jet-skiing — nothing. The advisory is just a precaution, but officials are urging everyone to stay out of the area until further notice.
It’s unclear how long it’ll last, but the city’s testing the water and will lift the advisory once everything’s back to safe levels.
So yeah — maybe skip the ocean dips this weekend and stick to pool hangs instead. 🏖️💦 Stay safe, Miami!
