Talk about dedication goals. Miami Beach is officially renaming 3rd Street along Ocean Drive to honor Robert “Raven” Kraft, the local legend who’s been running the same stretch of South Beach every single day for the last 50 years. Yep — rain, shine, or Miami humidity, this man never stopped.

Kraft, who just turned 75, has earned the nickname “Miami’s Forrest Gump,” and honestly? It fits. For half a century, he’s become a familiar sight along the sand, clocking miles and inspiring everyone from pro athletes to casual beach joggers.

While he’s dialed it down from eight miles to a “light” five a day (because, same), he’s rarely alone — a crew of loyal runners often joins him for what’s become a Miami Beach ritual.

City Commissioners say they’re honoring Kraft for his resilience, and the dedication ceremony is happening Friday, October 17 at 11 AM at Ocean Drive & 3rd Street.

So if you’re around South Beach, swing by to celebrate a true Miami icon — the man who literally ran the city. 🏅💨
