Tour Canceled, Deluxe Album Shelved: The Latest on D4vd’s Legal Drama

Okay, so the drama around D4vd’s car, where the remains of a teen girl, Celeste Rivas, were found, is getting even more messy. A private investigator, Fischer, is clocking the timeline, and it’s giving major side-eye.

Apparently, the Tesla was playing musical chairs around a Hollywood neighborhood starting in May, and then, on July 29th, it got ditched for the final time on Bluebird Avenue. The thing is, this date is right before, or the same day, that D4vd dipped out for his “WITHERED World Tour” which started on August 5th. Coincidence? Internet sleuths are not buying it.

The car got towed a few days later, and that’s how Rivas’s body was eventually found at the Hollywood impound lot on September 8th. Investigators say she had been dead for quite a while before the discovery. Big yikes.

The LAPD is still working on the official tea. Rivas’s cause of death is still “deferred.” This means they don’t know exactly how she died yet, and they’re waiting on those toxicology reports.

Fischer threw out one theory: it “could be an accidental overdose with a really bad decision made afterwards,” as in, someone panicked and hid the body.

D4vd kept his head down and hit the road for a whole month, even after the body was found. But eventually, the noise got too loud:

He canceled the release of his deluxe album, Withered: Marcescence, which his label, Interscope, reportedly shelved.

The artist, whose real name is David Anthony Burke, has kept his public silence, which, honestly, is adding fuel to the fire. He has lawyered up with legal representation.

D4vd’s manager, Josh Marshall, who rented the Hollywood Hills home that police searched, has pushed back on the online noise. He publicly denied any involvement, specifically through comments on TikTok, stating he had “zero knowledge of anything” and doesn’t even live in California full-time.

For now, D4vd is NOT named as a suspect by police. This whole case is still unfolding, and people are waiting on the police and the Medical Examiner to drop the next major update.
