Yummy Hits Pure Miami
todayFebruary 11, 2026
This spring, the spirit of Mexico is arriving in South Florida with the debut of Tequila Town, an ambitious, 25,000-square-foot immersive experience. Scheduled to run from April 2 through May 22, the installation will transform Toledo Studios (adjacent to Factory Town) into a living map of the Jalisco highlands.
Far more than a standard tasting event, Tequila Town is being billed as an “analogue escape” designed to tell the story of agave from seed to spirit. Curated by Age of Agave and a collective of cultural visionaries, the experience spans 10+ immersive rooms, each designed as a sensory chapter in the history of tequila. Highlights of the journey include:
The Espíritu Express: A simulated train ride through the blue agave fields of Jalisco.
Lazaro’s Hacienda: A tribute to Lázaro Gallardo, the founder of Gran Centenario and history’s first master distiller.
La Rojeña: A recreation of the oldest distillery in Latin America, where guests can explore 18th-century production roots.
The Agave Garden: A permanent on-site garden featuring native trees and environmental programming led by an in-house arborist to highlight sustainability.
The event features a heavy-hitting roster of brand partners, ranging from legendary houses to modern trailblazers. Visitors can expect to sample and learn about:
Established Icons: Jose Cuervo, 1800 Tequila, Maestro Dobel, and Reserva de la Familia.
Emerging Favorites: Volcan de mi Tierra, El Tequileño, and m4 Tequila.
The experience culminates in the Cristalino Cantina, a “vibey” lounge focused on the future of the category, and a Mercado featuring Mexican artisans, live music, and authentic street snacks (botanas).
Dates: April 2 – May 22, 2026
Location: Toledo Studios (near Factory Town), 4710 NW 37th Ave, Miami.
Tickets: Starting at $85–$89, including a welcome drink and four guided tastings.
Programming: Look for “Agave After Dark” dinners featuring guest chefs and mixologists throughout the six-week run.
As tequila continues to be the fastest-growing spirit category in the U.S., Tequila Town aims to bridge the gap between “drinking” and “understanding,” offering Miami locals a deep-dive into the craftsmanship behind their favorite cocktails.
