Just when South Florida thought it was saying goodbye to Carousel Club, the popular Hallandale Beach venue is making an unexpected comeback.
Only days after hosting its farewell “Last Spin” closing party, Carousel Club is set to return as a FIFA World Cup watch party destination at Gulfstream Park. The outdoor venue will host soccer fans throughout the tournament from June 11 through July 19, featuring a massive LED screen, multiple viewing areas, live horse racing, food vendors, drink specials, and opportunities to win official FIFA World Cup tickets.
The announcement comes as a surprise to many locals who believed Carousel Club had permanently closed after its emotional farewell celebration. While the venue’s previous chapter may have ended, Gulfstream Park is quickly giving the space a new purpose just in time for one of the biggest sporting events in the world.
Operated by Gulfstream Park in partnership with Michelob ULTRA, Stella Artois, and NÜTRL Vodka Seltzer, the 14,000-square-foot venue will be transformed into a soccer viewing destination for fans across South Florida.
A giant LED screen and multiple televisions throughout the property will broadcast matches during the tournament, allowing guests to catch every major moment while enjoying the venue’s open-air atmosphere.
Unlike a traditional sports bar, Carousel Club offers visitors a unique South Florida setting with trackside views, outdoor seating, green spaces, and its signature carousel-themed bar.
One of the biggest draws of the event is the opportunity to enjoy FIFA World Cup action alongside live horse racing at Gulfstream Park.
Guests can spend the day watching international soccer matches while also taking in live racing from one of South Florida’s most iconic entertainment destinations. The combination creates a one-of-a-kind experience for sports fans looking for something beyond the typical watch party.
Food vendors are also expected to be part of the festivities, with local favorites including Pubbelly Sushi and Sergio’s appearing on select match days.
In addition to match broadcasts, Carousel Club will host ticket giveaways during select watch parties.
Fans attending the June 24 watch party featuring Brazil vs. Scotland will have a chance to win tickets to the Colombia vs. Portugal match. Additional giveaways are planned throughout the tournament, including opportunities to win tickets to a Round of 32 matchup.
For soccer fans hoping to experience the FIFA World Cup in person, the watch parties could offer more than just a place to watch the action.

While many South Florida residents thought the venue’s “Last Spin” party marked the end of Carousel Club, it appears the space isn’t going anywhere just yet. Instead, Gulfstream Park is giving soccer fans a new place to gather, watch the FIFA World Cup, and enjoy one of the most unique sports viewing experiences in South Florida this summer.
